The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North Dakota State University invites applications for a post-doctoral position, with appointment beginning on or after August 1st, 2020. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field. They must have a strong record of scholarship with publications, possess good interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills.
The position is initially for 1 year and renewable up to 2 more years based on the candidate’s performance and availability of funds. The selected candidate will work under the mentorship of successful, NIH-funded principal investigator in translational lung/respiratory physiology and pharmacology research.
Preference will be given to applicants with training and research expertise in broad areas of protein biochemistry, molecular Biology, confocal microscopy, and cellular Physiology. The successful candidate is expected to think independently, design and perform experiments and also work collaboratively with other fellows and graduate students.
