This position will work to support the broad range of administrative, management and financial services to other City departments as directed by the Board of City Commissioners. The Administration Department issues various permits, provides technical and clerical support to the Board of City Commissioners and other City advisory boards and provides public information and media information services for the City. This full-time employment opportunity is a 40-hour per week, Monday through Friday position. Additionally, this position also supports the activities of the Board of City Commissioners at all City Commission meetings which routinely occur twice per month beginning at 5:15 p.m. The Administration Department is a fast-paced, detail-oriented group that is looking for a qualified applicant with work experience in government, public meetings, preparation of minutes, social media for business, website preparation/maintenance and other aspects of community-oriented work.
High school graduation or equivalent (GED).
