Job Description:
Under general supervision, prepares and analyzes financial and statistical data, prepares certificate applications and assists in all aspects of natural gas transmission regulatory functions, in accordance with federal regulations to enable the completion and timely submittal of reports and filings required by various industry and regulatory agencies including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Regulatory Analyst I:
• Must possess a working knowledge of business and accounting concepts normally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.

Regulatory Analyst II:
• Must possess a working knowledge of business and accounting concepts normally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
• Two years’ experience as a Regulatory Analyst I or equivalent experience in rates and regulations of public utility or natural gas pipeline industry or related field.
Key Skills & Competencies
Regulatory Analyst I:
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills and good human relations skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, ability to work on moderately complex activities.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports, charts, correspondence and presentations.
• Self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges and able to work independently.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
• General business experience.

Regulatory Analyst II:
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
• Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Must maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.

Additional Requirements
• May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, economics, finance, engineering or related field preferred.
• Paralegal experience preferred.
• Natural gas industry experience preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
